Dog Evaluations

We require a temperament evaluation for some pups for daycare & boarding to create a happy, safe, harmonious population. Evaluations will allow us to assess if we are the best fit for your dog. There are several possible evaluation methods.

Dogs requiring evaluation:

• Pit Bull Terriers, Cane Corsos, Rottweilers, German Shepherds (as well as Dutch and Belgian Shepherds), Dobermans, and any mix of these breeds, regardless of gender.
• Dogs who have extreme anxiety, or have behaviors or tendencies that we feel needs to be evaluated. 

Evaluation Process:

• If it is determined that your dog may potentially need an evaluation, our Evaluation Team will send you an online questionnaire to complete.  Please fill out their form and we will review it and reach back out to you.
• We may call with any questions we have about the answers to the questionnaire. 
• A member of our Evaluation Team will determine whether your dog will need to come in for a Full Evaluation, or just a normal day of daycare. 

  If Your Pet Needs a Full Evaluation:

• Evaluations are scheduled on Tuesdays and Sundays, by appointment only.
• Drop off time is between 9-10 am. Please allow yourself 15-20 minutes to wait after drop off, to ensure the initial portion of the temperament evaluation is successful. 
• Pick up is at 2 pm, unless we contact you to pick up early.
• Your dog must be current on their bordetella, distemper and rabies, as well as have a completed profile with us before their evaluation. 

Evaluations Fee:

• Evaluations are $25 and must be prepaid at scheduling. This fee is non-refundable.
